BYU was kind enough to send me an email called "My BYU News", letting me know (among other things), what the Chemistry Department is up to. Apparently they are "dedicated to the investigation of the supersonic expansion into the first vacuum stage of an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer..."
Isn't that what the scarecrow said when he got his brain?

Actually, IIRC, what the scarecrow said upon brain installation was an incorrect statement of the Pythagorean Theorem (he said "isosceles triangle" instead of "right triangle.")
That has always bugged me. But your joke was funny in spite of this unfortunate reminder.
If you're wondering who I am and why I'm here, it's due to my following a link on Google Groups (Blogger Help Group) to investigate your BlogAlert service. I may have more to say about that in a day or two -- right now, I've just signed up and I'm waiting for the first email. Looks good so far, though.
I'll also be curious to hear how your Picasa problem plays out.
